Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in insurance verification and authorization (ABA, Speech, OT, PT experience a plus).
• Strong understanding of insurance processes and revenue cycle management.
• Well-organized and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance benefits and coverage for ABA and ancillary services.
• Accurately document verification details including copays and deductibles.
• Communicate coverage details and authorization requirements to providers.
• Obtain and track prior authorizations for ABA and related services.
• Follow up with payers to expedite delays and resolve authorization issues.
• Generate and send patient invoices for copays and payments; assist with payment plans.
• Address patient billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
