Job summary

Silna Health is seeking a prior authorization and benefits verifications expert to support ABA and other behavioral health providers. The role involves collaborating with the product team to automate parts of the verification process and ensure timely authorizations.

Remote work available, 40 hours per week. You will verify eligibility, gather patient information, and communicate decisions with insurers and providers to prevent care delays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ABA or behavioral health prior authorizations.
• Strong understanding of insurance policies, deductibles, co-insurance and out-of-pocket costs.
• Familiarity with payor portals and calling payors.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient information and communicate authorization decisions with ABA providers and billing teams.
• Verify patient eligibility and benefits with insurers; complete prior authorizations via portals or calls.
• Manage multiple prior authorizations concurrently and improve processes for efficiency.
• Understand ABA workflows and re-authorization needs; coordinate with product/engineering to share learnings.
• Communicate effectively across stakeholders and support remote operations.
