Job summary

Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore is seeking a Printmaking Research Technician to assist with the day-to-day operations of the Printmaking Studio, support fall and spring instruction, and enable student access following campus protocols.

You will provide technical support to students, supervise student access, maintain equipment, and help develop tutorials while collaborating with the Printmaking Studio Manager and faculty.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Fine Art or equivalent with printmaking shop experience.
• Experience operating printing presses and traditional printmaking processes.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and perform physical duties as described.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Printmaking Studio.
• Supervise student homework access to the Printmaking Studio.
• Provide technical support to students in the Printmaking Studio.
