You will collaborate with the Fiber Studio Manager, provide technical help, and contribute to tutorials and studio policies while lifting up to 45 pounds and working evenings

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Fine Art or a four-year degree with fiber studio experience.
• Experience operating household sewing machines, floor looms, and/or TC2 Digital Jacquard loom.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and prepare the TC2 loom.
• Assist with day-to-day Fiber Studio operations.
• Supervise student homework access to the Fiber Studio.
• Provide technical support to students in the Fiber Studio.
• Ensure safety and Environmental Health and Safety compliance.
• Assist with training and mentoring student workers.
