Qualifications

• Education: BFA degree in design or related field.
• Experience: professional design experience, including freelance or part-time design work.
• Substitutions: has taken the MICA course Letterpress Printing or equivalent at another institution.
• Preferred: MFA in design (in progress).

Responsibilities

• Assist students with using equipment.
• Assist faculty with setting up and closing down the printshop.
• Observe safety practices and care for the equipment.
• Operate equipment independently.
• Set up print shop for operation before class.
• Assist with shutting down the print shop after class.
