The Department of Art and Art History at the University of California, Davis invites applications for a lecturer position in the Art Studio Program to teach Beginning Printmaking in Winter and/or Spring 2027 (Jan. 6 - Mar. 21).

The selected lecturer(s) will teach a three-hour studio class twice a week and schedule regular office hours. Art 11: Beginning Printmaking covers the technical, aesthetic, and conceptual foundations of printmaking.

Qualifications

• MFA or equivalent required and some college/university level teaching beyond TA level.
• Expertise in the discipline and in Printmaking.
• Ability to design syllabi that combine technical instruction with conceptual content.

Responsibilities

• Teach Beginning Printmaking (Art 11) a three-hour studio class twice weekly.
• Schedule regular office hours in addition to teaching duties.
• Contribute to syllabus design and course planning.
