Job summary

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 3+ years printing industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance.
• Ability to read rulers and pass the color hue test.
• Proficiency with Excel and analytical tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• ISO 9001:2000 knowledge desirable.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Standing and walking required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with equipment calibration and care.
• Responsible for the approval of labels and processes prior to press run.
• Responsible for the approval of roll end retains saved by press operators.
• Assemble, file, and update color tolerance folders and related files.
• Collect and review rejected information as assigned by the Quality Manager.
• Conduct data collection and analysis as required.
• Assist in the management of the MCC Quality Management System, including document control.
• Perform internal audits as a member of MCC’s Internal Audit Team.
• Participate in improvement initiatives and projects.
• Participates in department meetings as scheduled.
• Overtime as needed and assigned.
• Related duties as assigned.
