Job summary

EnerStaff LLC is seeking a Printing Production Supervisor in Dallas, TX to oversee press operators, ensure color accuracy, and coordinate production schedules. The role emphasizes Lean practices and equipment maintenance, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory or lead experience; Flexo Operator experience required.
• Five+ years of production experience in manufacturing; printing/packaging industry preferred.
• Proficient in writing reports and presenting information to management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of press operators.
• Inspect plates, web, and materials for conformance and color matching.
• Check production schedule and ensure materials available for orders.
• Maintain equipment and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Analyze production schedules and estimate worker hours.
• Recommend improvements to production methods and equipment performance.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing procedures and participate in Lean committees.
• Train new Press Operators on tools and safe usage.
• Maintain production records and housekeeping standards.

Printing Production Supervisor

Location: Dallas, TX 75247

Pay: $70-$90K DOE

Shift: 6am-4:30pm Mon-Thurs

Responsibilities

• The Production Manager will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of press operators by performing the following duties.
• Inspectsplates,web,and other materials to be used in producing a job to verify conformance to specifications andis responsible forverifying color match of jobs to job specs.
• Checks production schedule andverifiesplates, inks and other required materials are available in advance of an order going to a Press Operator.
• Consistentlymaintainsequipment and may make minor repairs when necessary.
• Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and qualityof product.
• Responsiblefor implementing and following Lean Manufacturing procedures and is a member of one or more Lean manufacturing development and implementation committees.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems orassistsworkers in solving work problems.
• Trains new Press Operatorson proper and safe use of tools and equipment.
• Maintains production records in an efficient and organized manner.
• Keeps work areas clear and organized;maintainshousekeeping standards.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Directlysupervisespersonnel in the manufacturing departments.
• Responsibilities include training employees; planning,assigning,and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications

• Previoussupervisory orleadexperience of at least two years, Flexo Operator experience a MUST with a successfultrack recordfor leading teams.
• Five plus years of production experience in a manufacturing environment. Printing,packaging,or similar industry experience isrequired.
• Must be able towritereports, business correspondence and procedure manuals and effectively present information and respond to questions from employees and management.
