Job summary

RR Donnelley is seeking a 3rd shift Printing and Bindery Specialist in Angola, IN. You will load materials, adjust feeders, and support make-ready tasks on the press to maintain a steady production flow.

Expected responsibilities include delivering plates and parts, recycling old plates, and assisting with make-ready operations while following safety guidelines. The role emphasizes basic presswork knowledge and adherence to instructions.

Qualifications

• Requires basic knowledge of presswork procedures learned on the job.
• Ability to follow instructions to assist in press setup, operation and maintenance.
• Able to operate hand carts, pallet jacks, and hydraulic feed mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Load paper or raw materials (inks, glues, etc.) into feeders and hoppers to supply a constant flow while equipment runs.
• Make adjustments to equipment such as feeder mechanism based on paper size.
• Deliver equipment components such as plates or spray heads to the equipment for installation.
• Recycle old/discarded plates.
• Provide basic assistance as needed to make-ready the equipment for operation.
• Assist with retrieving plates, hanging plates and recycling/storing plates and other tasks associated with make-ready of the plates.
