Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a Printing Press Assistant to support the Printing Department. You will follow quality requirements, prepare for orders, and package finished rolls in a climate-controlled manufacturing setting.

The role requires attention to detail, basic math and mechanical skills, and may involve operating forklifts and assisting the Press Operator as needed. Shifts rotate 2-2-3; weekend and overtime hours may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience with printing equipment a plus.
• Basic mechanical and math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude.

• Prepares for upcoming orders.
• Packages/wraps finished rolls.
• Monitors viscosities and completes PH forms.
• Finds ink on specification sheet and disperses.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.

Shift:

2, 2, 3 rotating between days and nights every two weeks

Physical Demands

• The employee must frequently position or move up to 25 - 50 pounds.
• Lifting or moving items weighing greater than 50 pounds requires the use of lifting equipment or co-worker assistance.

Work Environment

• Work primarily in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Hearing protection, safety shoes, vision protection and other necessary PPE as required.
