Job summary

ProAmpac in Wisconsin is seeking a Printing Press Assistant to support the printing department and help ensure quality requirements are met on every order. You will prepare for upcoming orders, monitor viscosities, measure ink per specifications, move rolls with a forklift, and assist the Press Operator when needed on a 2-2-3 rotating 12-hour shift schedule.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, basic math and mechanical skills, strong attention to detail, and a team-oriented

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous exposure to printing equipment is a plus.
• Basic mechanical and math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Follow quality requirements to meet or exceed expectations.
• Prepares for upcoming orders.
• Packages/wraps finished rolls.
• Monitors viscosities and completes PH forms.
• Finds ink on specification sheet and disperses.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.
• Ability to fill-in for the Press Operator job when necessary.
