Job summary

AlphaGraphics - US376 is seeking a General Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate all plant production, administrative operations and sales growth initiatives in line with company objectives. You will oversee scheduling, staffing, budgeting, and compliance with relevant regulations while driving customer satisfaction and company profitability.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in industrial management or print shop management, at least five years in printing leadership, and a proven ability

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in industrial management or print shop management or equivalent experience.
• Requires at least five years’ printing experience including supervisory, production management or plant superintendent positions.
• Technology savvy, quickly learn and adapt new AI and software technologies and guide production, marketing and management.
• Requires the ability to efficiently operate a computer and to understand and correctly use the various items on the menu.
• Requires thorough knowledge of the printing industry, sales, budgeting and management techniques.
• Due to many contacts, a high degree of tact and business etiquette is required.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the President/CEO and coordinates production activities with supervisors.
• Plans scheduling needs and optimizes manpower, materials, and equipment use.
• Ensures timely departure of all jobs from the facility.
• Develops and maintains an effective organization through staffing and performance management.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA, EEOC and other regulations.
• Manages wage and salary administration with HR.
• Counsels, disciplines, and terminates employees with supervisory input.
• Handles customer complaints and ensures satisfaction.
• Oversees budgeting, expenditures, and management reporting.
• Leads marketing collaboration for new products and pricing.
