Job summary

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking an experienced Printing Operations Coordinator to join our Muscle Shoals, AL team on a 6-month, onsite contract. This role supports the information management job family with both standard and non-standard transactions, ensuring accurate document production and timely output.

The position is part-time with actual hours to be determined. You will operate high-speed xerographic equipment, coordinate bindery and offset printing processes, advise customers,

Qualifications

• Experience operating high-speed xerographic equipment.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to guide and instruct associates.
• Knowledge of publishing services (traditional and digital).

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed digital xerographic equipment to produce printed material.
• Advise customers and resolve printing problems with the vendor, IS, and customers.
• Operate bindery equipment including cutters, folders, addressing equipment, collators, saddle binders, etc.
• Prepare film output from the imagesetter for platemaking and run platemaker for metal plates.
• Coordinate work for printing operations personnel and ensure safety and environmental practices.
