Polytainers, a leading North American manufacturer of rigid plastic packaging, is seeking a Machine Operator/Press Operator in the Printing Department. You will operate printing presses, tear down and set up colors, and ensure product quality at the packing station while maintaining safety standards.
Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and strong English communication, with teamwork skills and experience in manufacturing preferred.

Reporting to the Printing Shift Supervisor, the Machine Operator in the Printing Department is responsible for operating a printing press and packing / unpacking rigid plastic containers and lids. A fully qualified Press Operator will be skilled in the following key responsibilities areas however may only be required to perform one or more of the responsibilities at a given time.
Tear Down of Printing Presses:
Run All Lid and Base Presses:
Monitor Product Quality:
Perform Product Control Duties:
Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures
Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
Physical Requirements: Must be able to work with constant exposure to moving machinery and noise. The physical requirements include movements of a repetitious and unchanging nature.
Communication Skills: Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills
Additional Education/Experience/Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others as part of a team
