Job summary

Lake Land College is seeking a Print & Design Specialist to design and print materials for internal and external clients, coordinating file prep and production training for student interns. You will guide students in pre-flighting, wide-format file prep, and proofs, ensuring accuracy and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in print or design required.
• 2 years' experience in design or print required; teaching or training experience preferred.
• Portfolio and proof of expediency in Adobe Creative Suite required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate file preparation and production work for student interns.
• Train students on pre-flighting and print file preparation.
• Instruct students on wide format file prep including cut line engraving and dimensional cutting.
• Work with print shop staff to train students on wide format printing and cutting.
• Develop materials independently based on client objectives meeting high standards.
• Serve as a liaison between shop and customers.
• Arrange project meetings or calls with customers to develop materials.
• Generate proofs reflecting alterations/instructions independently.
• Manage multiple projects and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
