Job summary

CCL Tube in Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking a Print Operator to operate offset, silk screen, and flexo printing equipment. The role maintains quality logs, tests production outputs, and communicates issues promptly to supervision.

You will set up machines, inspect runs for adherence to specs, and perform routine maintenance while documenting production and quality data daily.

Qualifications

• Experience operating printing equipment and adhering to job specs.
• Ability to read job orders and perform quality checks.
• Proactive in troubleshooting equipment and maintaining production logs.

Responsibilities

• Reads job specs and procures all applicable tooling
• Sets up the printing equipment to accommodate for job orders and specs in the production run
• Conducts ongoing visual inspection of machine for leaks, loose belts, etc., according to checklist
• Troubleshoots printing equipment
• Conducts adjustments as needed to meet customer specifications
• Performs checks for compliance to customer specifications and quality standards
• Identifies and promptly reports to supervisors equipment malfunction, material, safety, and/or quality issues
• Completes record production and quality control worksheet accurately
• Performs line clearance procedures in the event of a product change
• Performs clearance procedures for shift change over
• Complies with company personnel and safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Performs special projects and assignments as directed by supervisory personnel
• Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined work-piece to specifications
• Diagnosis and repair of minor mechanical failures

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for operating, adjusting, testing, and maintaining printing equipment. Maintains quality check log and completes production report on a daily basis. Communicates quality, material, and production issues to supervisor by performing the following duties.
