Job summary

Staples is seeking a Print Specialist to deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers with their print needs in a fast-paced retail environment. You will operate print and production equipment, help with in-store services, and participate in a team-oriented culture.

Applicants should be flexible for part-time hours, have strong communication and attention to detail, and be able to lift 10–50 lbs while assisting customers with their printing projects. Training in print is provided.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work a schedule based on store needs.
• Able to assist many customers with print solutions.
• Attention to quality and detail in print jobs.
• Basic computer skills to open/save/send files; familiarity with Word.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift/move supplies 10–50 lbs; stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the Print Solutions department and respond quickly.
• Ask open-ended questions to understand print needs and build relationships.
• Use order intake tools to capture project information and provide a total print solution.
• Assist customers with self-service tasks using copy machines and PC rentals.
• Ask qualifying questions to generate potential leads.
• Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned (e.g., help with shipping).
