A leading company in the aviation industry is seeking a Print Shop Technician to join their team in Marysville, WA. The role involves operating machinery to produce honeycomb core components and handling material verification. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and preferably some manufacturing experience. This entry-level position offers a chance to grow within a global enterprise with comprehensive training and development opportunities.
The duties of this job are performed to produce honeycomb core hobes that will be further processed to manufacture honeycomb core. Duties include machine set up, operation, stacking and other production tasks necessary for hobe processing.
Summary of Duties:
Verification and withdrawal of materials
Set up and operation of the print machine
Stacking completed sheet as the come off of the production line
Making and attaching “dog ears” that are used as a mechanism to assist in further processing of the hobes.
Other tasks include completion of production documentation, quality control and housekeeping activities
Requires little to no experience, but requires willingness to learn and perform to standard expectations
Conducts routine tasks as directed
Closely supervised with little latitude for independent judgment
Participate in operational improvement activities
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: Prior manufacturing experience preferred
Computer Skills:
Basic knowledge Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). All employees are expected to utilize company email and other company business applications.
Other Skills:
Must be willing to work as a team member
Effective oral and written communications skills
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and assignments with attention to detail
Problem solving, well organized, detailed oriented and accurate.
Additional Preferred Skills:
Forklift operation certification and operation may be required.
