Job summary

Servall Uniform & Linen Supply is seeking a production associate to operate DTF printers and heat presses, ensuring quality transfers on garments. You will load materials, monitor equipment, and prepare orders for pickup or shipping in a fast-paced shop environment.

Ideal candidates have experience with garment decoration or related production work, excel at detail, and can follow production instructions while maintaining safety and organization on site.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a DTF printer or commercial heat press preferred.
• Ability to load consumables and monitor printers and presses.
• Strong attention to detail for design placement and print quality.
• Able to follow written production instructions and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor DTF printers and related printing equipment.
• Load and maintain DTF film, ink, powder, and other consumables.
• Operate heat presses to transfer designs onto shirts, hoodies, and other garments.
• Ensure correct garment positioning, temperature, pressure, and pressing time.
• Inspect finished garments for alignment, adhesion, color, and overall print quality.
• Follow production orders and worksheets.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of printers, heat presses, and curing equipment.
• Troubleshoot common printing and pressing issues and report equipment problems when necessary.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures.
• Package and prepare completed orders for pickup or shipping.

Job Summary

handles in-house production and collaborates with our Sales Team, Supervisor, and other production team members to successfully customize and produce screen-printed products for customers and accounts.

Job requirements

Job responsibilities and essential job functions

• Ability to follow order instructions and other printing-related tasks.
• Ability to work with multiple departments and communicate effectively.
• Ability to manage work independently on multiple projects and adherence to deadlines.
• Attention to detail and well organized.
• Knowledge of basic math and computer skills.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull up to 30 pounds and stand throughout the day.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Previous experience operating a DTF printer and/or commercial heat press.
• Experience with garment decoration, screen printing, embroidery, or similar production work is a plus.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work with graphic files.
• Familiarity with programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or RIP software is helpful.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly with design placement and print quality.
• Ability to follow written production instructions and work independently.
• Good hand-eye coordination and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift/move boxes or garment inventory.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a production environment

Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Hours

Monday-Friday, approximately 40 hours per week. General work hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Work Environment

Inside typical shop environment- can be hot and humid; must be aware of safety protocols and avoiding injury to hands from moving parts of machinery and tools. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
