Duration: 4 months (Potential to FTE)

Pay Rate : $11.00 /hr

Shifts: first shift 6:00 AM-4:30 PM and second shift 4:30 PM-3:00 AM

Position is responsible for preparing, operating and maintaining a Direct to Garment press to produce high-quality product for final processing in the finishing department.

Essential responsibilities:

1. Load art and product on the machine.
2. Ensure product meets customer specifications.
3. Monitor and correct any problems that may occur during the press run to minimize downtime and waste.
4. Conduct routine quality checks for any printing imperfections during each run.
5. Ensure completed product is staged in the area with appropriate job ticket information attached.
6. Maintain an accurate record of all completed work.
7. Maintain acceptable productivity, quality, service, spoilage, security and safety goals.
8. Perform preventative maintenance, conduct minor repairs and report any mechanical defects to supervisor on equipment.
9. Maintain a clean and safe work area.
10. Follow all company procedures and rules.
11. Follow all mandated security procedures and process requirements.
12. Conduct self‑in a respectful and professional manner with a focus on teamwork, quality and timeliness at all times.

Basic Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience using Digital Press and/or Screen Press and familiarity with printing ink.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with ability to select and use appropriate equipment, supplies and tools.
• Willingness and ability to work 10‑hour shifts, including weekends and nights.

Preferred Qualifications

• Digital printing on garments (Kornit equipment ideal).
• Quality control experience.
• Good computer skills able to understand moving of files.
• Good detail and decision‑making skills in order to set up equipment, check product quality and make adjustments to meet customer deadlines and requirements.
• Ability to follow/interpret written and oral instructions and specifications.
• Must be reliable through good attendance, punctuality and cooperation.
