Job summary

MCC is seeking a Press Assistant to support printing presses, ensuring high-quality label production, efficient workflow, and strong safety practices in a fast-paced plant environment in Wisconsin.

The role involves assisting with press setup, ink handling, quality checks, and material handling under the GlobeTek system, with 2nd or 3rd shift options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing, printing, machine operation, or production experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn printing press operations.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.
• Report all safety concerns or issues to the immediate supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by completing daily housekeeping assignments.
• Assist Press Operators during press setup, make-readies, changeovers, and production runs.
• Prepare and stage inks, substrates, plates, cylinders, tooling, and other production materials according to job specifications.
• Monitor material levels throughout production and replenish supplies as needed to minimize downtime.
• Support quality checks by inspecting labels for copy, color, registration, print quality, and overall conformance to customer specifications.
• Collaborate with Press Operators and team members to achieve production, quality, waste, and efficiency goals.
