Job summary

RXinsider LTD. in Circleville, OH seeks a Print Production Specialist to design stock and custom requests, provide quotes, and generate color-accurate proofs for customers.

The role supports SOP development and Prop 65 related items in a fast-paced shop. You will learn machine capabilities to ensure cost-effective products, create and maintain SOPs, and collaborate with the production team on special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong math skills including basic operations and measuring.
• Superior communication skills—verbal, nonverbal, written, and reading comprehension to follow instructions on order sheets, in email and COMMS.
• Proficient PC skills; advanced MS Office experience (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Experience with Shoptech E2, P21, and Adobe CC; InDesign/Illustrator desirable.

Responsibilities

• Answer all comms related to Print Production in a timely manner.
• Provide proper and accurate costing on any comms that requires a cost update or new costing.
• Design and provide color accurate proofs to customers.
• Learn and understand machine abilities to ensure cost-effective products for end user.
• Understand how our machines work and operate so SOPs can be created and maintained.
• Help with special projects and other areas based on staffing needs and workflow.

Brief Description

Title: Print Production Specialist

Department: Print Production

Reports to: Print Production Manager

Status: Hourly

Primary Function

Designing stock and custom requests via comms and emails. Provide quotes to our resource department and customers. Help with maintaining and developing SOP’s and Prop 65 related items.

Requirements

• High school Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent math skills in basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and measuring
• Superior communication skills –verbal, nonverbal, written and reading comprehension to follow instructions on order sheets, in email and internal communication platform - COMMS
• Must be able to operate a PC and navigate basic computer functions such as Internet Applications and PC faxing. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook and Word required.
• Experience with Shoptech E2 software, P21 and Adobe Creative Cloud products. Experience with InDesign and/or Illustrator is highly desirable.
• Must be able to learn, retain and apply information about HCL products.
• Strong analytical, planning, problem solving skills with a high level of organization required.
• The ability to sit, stand or walk for a long period.
• Frequently using near vision in reading of work orders and while operating a PC.
• Operation of light industrial equipment and hand tools.
• Frequently perform the following: reach with both arms; twisting/turning; bending; kneeling; squatting; pushing; pulling; lifting; carrying and climbing ladders.
• Frequently lift and carry 11 to 20 lbs.; occasionally lift and carry 21 to 50 lbs.; team lifting above 50 lbs. as needed.
