Job summary

Arrow International, Inc. in Cleveland, OH is seeking a press operator to manage production runs from setup to finished sheet. You’ll optimize color and quality across offset, digital, and flexographic platforms, with shifts on 1st or 2nd, and overtime as demand spikes.

Monday–Friday schedule with standard hours and occasional overtime supports high‑volume jobs. You will configure the press, perform changeovers, verify registration, monitor waste, and ensure safety and clean work areas.

Your mission: take ownership of production runs from setup to final sheet, ensuring quality and uptime. Whether you prefer early starts (1st shift: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM) or evenings (2nd shift: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM), you’ll work Monday through Friday—with overtime when demand spikes—on equipment spanning offset, digital, and flexographic platforms.

Picture a typical run

You receive a job packet with work orders, schedules, first articles, database files, and ticket tab visuals. You configure the press, complete the first transfer, and dial in color calibration. You select the proper print mode to balance color accuracy, quality, and speed, then load the exact stock—type, size, and color—called for. Throughout the run, you confirm registration and print quality, watching for anything that could cause waste or rework.

• Perform thorough daily setups and efficient changeovers, including databases, blankets, impression paper, PIP, and stocks.
• Keep the press clean and reliable: reservoirs, cylinders, and components get routine care.
