Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be well organized and detail-oriented.
• Above-average math skills for planning and costing.
• Background in four-color process printing is a plus.
• Experience in sheet-fed printing industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan all production operations and procedures according to estimates and cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality.
• Gather all information and specifications needed to properly plan jobs.
• Enter orders, verify against inputs, complete job tickets, and communicate special instructions.
• Coordinate with scheduling, service and sales to align timelines and commitments to customers.
• Schedule use of production materials to achieve optimal production levels.
• Evaluate suppliers for quality and timeliness relative to goals.
• Monitor material supply flow and identify shortages or bottlenecks.
• Identify and resolve inventory-related issues.
• Forecast market challenges based on industry trends and competition.
• Address quality and production issues and manage deadlines.
