Job summary

Broadridge is seeking a Print Operator in Edgewood, NY to operate cut-sheet and high-speed printers, as well as binding equipment, ensuring high-quality output for DDS clients.

You will collaborate with the DDS Print Coordinator and shift supervisor to prioritize work and maintain production schedules, while adhering to quality standards and reporting procedures. This is an on-site role handling multiple print jobs and flexible assignments.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; some college preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in a print production environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
• Detail-oriented and able to review printed documents for quality.

Responsibilities

• Receive print requests and print documents on cut-sheet and high-speed equipment.
• Review and assign work to printers from the Canon Workflow System.
• Prioritize work with supervisor and coordinators to meet deadlines.
• Ensure print quality meets DDS/client standards and address issues promptly.
• Route correct jobs to printers by comparing data with outputs.
• Notify coordinator when jobs are completed to move to next step.
• Stamp print requests for accountability and reporting.
• Inform management of printer/file problems and log vendor calls.
• Other duties as assigned.
