Job summary

MAD Monkey Media LLC in Dallas seeks a Production Lead to run the apparel print floor, own throughput and quality, and train a small team.

You will manage DTF, vinyl, sublimation, and screen production end-to-end, implement gang-sheet workflows, maintain machines, and improve on-time shipping.

This on-site role requires hands-on mornings on the floor and planning time, with KPIs and growth opportunities through equipment decisions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in custom apparel or print production.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience with gang-sheet workflows and prepress.
• Ability to lead a small production crew.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a real advantage on the floor.

• QA every job before shipping and own reprint decisions.
• Train and lead a small production team and assistants.
• Own training sign-offs to move staff onto pay steps.
• Keep machines maintained and consumables stocked.
• Own throughput, scrap rate and on-time shipping as KPIs.

Job description

Run the print and apparel fulfillment floor. Press setup, gang sheets, QA, shipping, and the people. You own throughput and you own quality.

Where you work: On-site at our Dallas, TX location. This role is not remote.

Pay: $65,000 - $85,000 / year

Most leads start between $70,000 and $75,000. The top of the band is for someone who has run a floor with a crew and owned throughput numbers before.

What you will do

• Run DTF, vinyl, sublimation and screen production end-to-end
• Build gang sheets and prepress files
• QA every job before it ships, and own the call on a reprint
• Train and lead a small production team, including the assistants coming up
• Own the training sign-offs that move assistants onto the pay steps
• Keep machines maintained and consumables stocked
• Own throughput, scrap rate and on-time shipping as real numbers

What we are looking for

• 3+ years in custom apparel or print production
• Comfortable with Adobe Illustrator and gang-sheet workflows
• Detail-obsessed. A bad print is your nightmare
• Can lead a small crew without ego, and can actually teach a beginner
• Bilingual English and Spanish is a real advantage on this floor
