Job summary

ARC Document Solutions in San Francisco, CA, is seeking an Assistant Estimator & Project Coordinator to support the digital print production team. You will combine technical cost analysis with project scheduling, calculate materials and machine costs, and help create bids while overseeing print job flow.

The role requires coordinating with production teams and customers to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met, with responsibilities from site surveys to delivery and installation support.

Qualifications

• Experience in large format color print production, graphics, signage, or related industry.
• Ability to estimate, manage orders, and coordinate production schedules.
• Excellent communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Schedule site surveys as needed and coordinate with production teams.
• Prepare cost estimates, quotes, and pricing based on project specs.
• Review scope of work, materials, labor, and production timelines.
• Assist in managing projects from order entry through delivery.
• Coordinate with Regional Color Manager, Project Manager, and production to meet deadlines.
• Communicate with customers on specs, timelines, revisions, and updates.
• Create and maintain IFP quotes, work orders, and production docs.
• Monitor progress and flag issues affecting schedule or cost.
• Interface with customers regarding scheduling and problem-solving.
• Provide other customer service as required.
