Job summary

FASTSIGNS on N Tryon Street near UNC Charlotte seeks a Print Graphic Designer & Production Specialist to turn artwork into physical signage. You will bridge digital design with fabrication, producing signs, vinyl graphics, banners, and print assets for local businesses.

Entry-level candidates are welcome with strong basic design skills. You will receive comprehensive on-the-job training in wide-format equipment, material fabrication, and production techniques in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; graphic design coursework/degree is a plus.
• Entry-level candidates welcome with basic design skills and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Create vector layouts and print-ready files; ensure scale, resolution, and color accuracy.
• Set up, operate, and maintain wide-format inkjet printers, plotters, and laminators per material specs.
• Perform physical finishing: weeding vinyl, trimming, laminating, and mounting prints.
• Inspect finished products for quality before client pickup or installation.
• Assist clients in-person or by phone with proofs, uploads, and basic design consultations.
