Job summary

RRD's Green Bay facility is seeking a detail-oriented Print Production Assistant to join our direct marketing team. This is a 12-hour day shift position with a rotating schedule that supports a work-life balance.

You will be responsible for the final stages of our print production process—ensuring high-volume direct mail materials are checked, packaged, and prepared for distribution. No experience required—extensive training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a print shop or direct mail is a plus but not required.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to read a standard ruler.
• Strong visual ability to identify and inspect defects.
• Coordinate hand/foot movements to operate staple machine.
• Stand, walk, and bend for a full shift.
• Able to lift and move up to 40–50 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable around large-scale printing and binding machinery.

Responsibilities

• Inspect final printed products for quality defects and correct errors.
• Pack, band, and sort finished products according to client specifications and postal regulations.
• Count trays and bundles, verify counts and weights against shipping documents.
• Document daily production progress and equipment issues for handoffs.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and support changing production needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
