Job summary

Amcor LLC is hiring for a night-shift role focused on ensuring product quality and proper packaging. You will visually inspect products, package them at the press onto pallets, and read production instructions for quantities and configurations. The job requires standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 35 pounds in a fast-paced environment.

Employees work the night shift from 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. with a pay rate of $18.77 per hour, and must follow Amcor's safety and GMP policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to visually inspect products for defects.
• Experience with GMP/safety policies is a plus.
• Attention to detail in packaging and labeling.

Responsibilities

• Visually verify product quality during production.
• Package finished product onto pallets per packaging instructions.
• Read production instructions for quantity and configuration.
• Work safely following GMP policies and Amcor guidelines.
• Stand, walk, reach and lift boxes up to 35 pounds during a 12-hour shift.

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPrimary responsibility is to verify the quality of product being produced by visually reviewing product for defects and package at press as being produced.All tasks performed must be performed safely and comply with all safety and GMP policies.After checking product for defects which we will train you to inspect for, you then package product into packaging for storage.This involves reading production instructions for quantity and configurations of how to package properly directly onto pallets at your machine.Standing, walking, reaching and lifting boxes of up to thirty -five pounds repetitively during a twelve hour shift.This process moves at a fast pace and is best suited for those that like to keep busy and not have sedentary tasks. Time passes quickly!Will perform tasks that require you work with others as a team and alone at times.
