Job summary

Amcor LLC in Warren, Oregon, is seeking a Packer/Handler to join our packaging team. You will inspect products, assemble items with gaskets and handles, and ensure accurate labeling and packing according to customer specifications.

You’ll work on a 12-hour shift schedule with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential, increasing to $19.00 per hour after 90 days based on performance. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be able to keep up with fast-paced production cycles.
  • Position requires agility and consistent attention to detail.
  • Able to tolerate constant repetition.
  • Some workstations may require sitting or standing for long periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds safely.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
  • Inspect product to ensure quality and set aside items below standards.
  • Assemble product by installing gaskets in lids and handles in containers.
  • Stack and pack product per customer instructions and label accordingly.
  • Assist with material handling and other tasks as needed.
  • Downtime during machine interruptions to clean, sweep, and perform other assigned duties.
  • Complete required paperwork accurately.

Job DescriptionThe primary duties and responsibilities of the OP1 consist of, but are not limited to, the following:Maintain a safe, clean and organized work areaInspect product to ensure quality. Set aside product that is below quality standards. Work closely with Team Leader and alert Mold Tech and Supervisor of any quality issues or reject conditions. Watch molds for irregularities or sticking.
