Job summary

MED-1 SOLUTIONS in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a Print Operator to run digital printing machines in a time-sensitive setting. You will prepare for printing by selecting the correct media and settings, load the appropriate paper, and monitor results during the run.

Responsibilities include initiating and aligning jobs on high-tech printers, trimming and sorting outputs, and assisting with basic maintenance. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 3:30 PM – 11:00 PM, with wages based on experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• 0-2 years of print operation experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to run high speed printing equipment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail.

Job description

The Print Operator is responsible for operating digital printing machines in a time sensitive environment. To prepare for printing, print operators make the machine adjustments to accommodate the customer’s job, load the correct paper for the client’s job and monitor the results.

Responsibilities

• Initiating, loading, aligning print jobs in high tech printing machines
• Trimming, shrink-wrapping, sorting, and collation of print jobs
• Assisting with minor maintenance and troubleshooting such as cleaning sensors, clearing jams, and cleaning rollers
