Job summary

MED-1 Solutions, LLC in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Print Operator to run digital printing machines in a fast-paced environment. You will prepare machines, load correct paper, and adjust settings for each client job while monitoring output for quality.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 0–2 years of print experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Driving is required; shift is Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM.

• Initiating, loading, aligning print jobs in high tech printing machines
• Trimming, shrink-wrapping, sorting, and collation of print jobs
• Assisting with minor maintenance and troubleshooting such as cleaning sensors, clearing jams, and cleaning rollers
• Monitoring print quality while print jobs are running
• Alerting supervisor of any problems with print job
• Completing the job report if any problems occur during print run, including loss of paper
• Maintaining record and providing reports regarding the operations of the printing equipment

Description

The Print Operator is responsible for operating digital printing machines in a time sensitive environment. To prepare for printing, print operators make the machine adjustments to accommodate the customer's job, load the correct paper for the client's job and monitor the results.

Responsibilities

• Initiating, loading, aligning print jobs in high tech printing machines
• Trimming, shrink-wrapping, sorting, and collation of print jobs
• Assisting with minor maintenance and troubleshooting such as cleaning sensors, clearing jams, and cleaning rollers

Requirements
