Job summary

Sheridan Liberty is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead a commercial print-related manufacturing operation. You will direct a department to meet budgeted objectives and customer requirements while driving continuous improvement and change management across the plant.

Responsibilities include budgeting, team development, safety, quality, and process optimization. The role requires strategic planning, strong communication, and the ability to influence across multiple levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of supervisory or managerial experience in the printing industry.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to build relationships with Sales, Customers, and Manufacturing.
• Proven negotiation and problem solving abilities.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement processes and principles.
• Ability to lead quality initiatives and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Flexible, proactive self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence at multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to align department with Company and Division objectives.
• Drive budget attainment and high performance in customer satisfaction, quality, safety, and productivity.
• Plan and empower teams with tools and training while ensuring accountability for results.
• Develop and maintain an engaged workforce through leadership and communication.
• Promote ethical practices with customers, employees, and suppliers.
• Ensure safe working conditions through equipment maintenance and proper safety practices.
• Analyze and resolve problems; monitor production and guide troubleshooting.
• Develop procedures to reduce variation and manufacturing delays.
• Manage department budgets and control costs within tolerances.
• Assist process improvements with data collection and SPC analytics.
• Coach Supervisors to build leadership and teamwork skills.
• Coordinate with Supervisors and HR on performance appraisals and counseling or disciplinary actions.
