Job summary

Walsworth is seeking a General Manager for its Fulton facility to oversee all activities, aiming to maximize productivity, satisfy customer requirements, minimize costs, and maintain a safe working environment in line with company policy.

The role requires guiding plant-wide budgets, directing prepress manufacturing, setting quality targets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field with 10 years in print manufacturing.
• Associate degree in Business, Finance or related field with 12 years in print manufacturing.
• Candidates should demonstrate strong MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows databases.

Responsibilities

• Review development of plant-wide budgets and follow-up on variances.
• Prepare CAPEX plan for facility and review equipment Justifications.
• Direct prepress manufacturing to meet customer and company expectations.
• Establish quality target goals for prepress departments.
• Participate with cross-functional task teams.
• Ensure safety rules/regulations are followed.
• Monitor planning team activity.
• Interact with yearbook customer service to determine customer requirements.
• Communicate with departments and customers as needed.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities per policy and laws.
