Job summary

DCG ONE, based in Seattle, is seeking a Print and Mail Project Manager to organize and oversee projects from estimation through production of printed and mailed materials.

You will lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, applying expertise in print production, mail processes, and USPS guidelines to ensure on-time delivery within budget. This role offers growth within a leading marketing services provider.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in sales or project management.
• 1–2 years in print production and/or direct mail production.
• Strong knowledge of Print Production (sheetfed, heatset web, digital).
• Knowledge of USPS guidelines for business/bulk mail.
• Knowledge of standard bindery functions.
• Knowledge of wide format, letterpress, envelope converting, inventory, and fulfillment a plus.
• May be required to complete and pass Public Trust Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Successfully manage the life of a project from estimating to production.
• Meeting all deadlines and quality objectives while ensuring company profitability.
• Lead an inter-departmental team to complete print and mail projects on time, to specifications, within budget, and with accuracy and efficiency.
• Estimate projects/programs (including both internal production and outside services).
• Translate specifications and scheduling into MIS system(s).
• Ensure quality throughout the production process as needed (proofing, press-checks, bindery-checks, etc.).
• Create and maintain any custom programs needed for specific accounts.
• Complete all necessary sub-forms (proof requests, pre-flight forms, special instruction sheets, inventory forms, shipping requests, etc.) and distribute all necessary paperwork to the appropriate departments.
• Maintain customer inventory.
