FIS in Massachusetts is seeking a detail-focused Production Operator to join the Print & Insert team. You will operate high-speed printing and inserting equipment, set up materials, clear jams and maintain logs while meeting deadlines.

Based in a fast-paced environment, you will train less-experienced operators, support quality control, and keep work areas clean. Schedule is Monday–Friday 3:00 PM–11:30 PM EST with one weekend per month.

About the Role

You will join a close-knit Print & Insert team responsible for high-speed, high-volume production. You will operate continuous printing and inserting equipment to produce accurate, high‑quality client materials while meeting production deadlines. You will help maintain equipment, resolve routine production issues and support less‑experienced operators. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, dependable equipment operation and effective teamwork in a fast‑paced production environment.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:00p - 11:30p EST. Must work 1 weekend (the last weekend of the month).

What You Will Be Doing

• Operate high‑speed printing and inserting equipment to process checks, cards, inserts and other client materials.
• Set up equipment, load materials, clear jams and resolve routine equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards while meeting established production deadlines.
• Follow client‑specific setup instructions and operational procedures to ensure accurate production output.
• Complete operator reports and maintain accurate production, productivity, check, insert and postage logs.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and adjustments to support reliable system performance.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and replenish production supplies as needed.
• Track necessary supplies and inventory while following established quality control procedures.
• Partner with Quality Assurance, Presort Production and other teams to resolve production issues.
• Train and assist less‑experienced operators and provide lead coverage when needed.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to operate basic office or production equipment and learn job‑specific applications.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to consistently produce accurate, quality work.
• Clear, tactful and constructive verbal and written communication skills.
• Data entry skills with the ability to maintain accurate production records and logs.
• Ability to troubleshoot routine equipment issues, clear jams and perform basic machine adjustments.
• Ability to follow detailed operating procedures, client instructions and quality control requirements.
• Ability to stand, walk and bend while lifting up to 40 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three to five years of production or manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating high‑speed printing, inserting or comparable production equipment.
• Mechanical or electronic aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Experience with continuous‑feed printing equipment, including roll‑to‑roll production environments.
