Job summary

Brook + Whittle seeks an Estimator to prepare competitive estimates and bills of materials for printing projects. You will identify costs, materials and production methods, and work with sales to ensure accurate, timely quotes that drive growth and profitability.

Strong MS Office skills and prior estimating experience are essential. Role requires excellent math, organizational ability, and clear communication with internal teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum education is High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred
• Prior estimating experience is required
• Must be customer focused
• Ability to balance many projects while meeting deadlines
• Strong organizational and math skills; proficient with MS Office

Responsibilities

• Prepare competitive, accurate estimates and bill of materials for sales, planning and scheduling
• Identify press assignments and calculate costs, including tooling
• Determine material specifications for customer applications
• Identify materials, production methods, labor and time requirements
• Consult with sales and other departments to formulate accurate estimates
• Communicate scope, materials and scheduling requirements to customers
• Move estimated projects to actual orders for production when needed
• Coordinate with press department for complex orders and provide alternatives for No-Bid projects
