Job summary

Responsibilities include identifying press assignments, calculating costs, and communicating scope and timelines to customers. Strong Excel/Word skills and prior estimating in print are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior estimating experience is necessary.
• Must be customer focused and able to balance multiple projects with deadlines.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; excellent math.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and PM software a plus; printing/label experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare competitive, accurate estimates and bill of materials for sales, planning and scheduling projects.
• Identify press assignment and cost, including tooling, to prepare competitive estimates.
• Determine material specs for customer applications while estimating.
• Identify resources, labor and time requirements for projects.
• Consult with sales and other departments to finalize estimates.
• Clarify scope, materials and scheduling with customers.
• Move estimates to production orders when appropriate.
• Coordinate with press department for complex orders.
• Offer alternative solutions for potential no-bid projects.
