Job summary

Neutrino Advisory, an Inc 5000 Company, is seeking a senior Identity Security Architect/Lead to define enterprise IAM strategy across workforce, customer, and non-human identities. The role blends architecture, hands-on engineering, and technical leadership to build scalable, secure IAM in hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

You will drive adoption of modern authentication, passwordless methods, adaptive MFA, and Zero Trust, while guiding IAM lifecycle management and integrations with major cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related discipline
• 10+ years in security engineering with IAM focus
• Experience leading large IAM initiatives and security strategy
• Hands-on IAM design across providers: Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Ping, ForgeRock

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the organization’s Identity security strategy for Human and Non-Human identities
• Architect and oversee IAM deployment across on-prem and cloud environments
• Develop and socialize patterns for SAML 2.0, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SCIM, FIDO 2.0
• Act as technical lead for large-scale security projects across cross-functional teams
• Architect implementations across workforce and customer IAM ecosystems
• Lead passwordless, adaptive MFA, Zero Trust and AI-driven access orchestration initiatives
• Engineer integrations with Agentic AI tools for identity lifecycle operations

Job description

We are seeking a senior Identity Security Architect / Lead to define and drive the organization’s enterprise Identity Security strategy across workforce, customer, non-human, and emerging agentic identities.

This role will combine architecture, hands-on engineering, and technical leadership, with responsibility for designing secure, scalable identity solutions across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The individual will establish enterprise IAM patterns and standards, lead complex identity transformation initiatives, and guide the adoption of modern authentication and authorization approaches including passwordless authentication, passkeys, adaptive MFA, Zero Trust, and automated identity lifecycle management.

Responsibilities:

• Define and lead the implementation of the organization’s Identity security strategy, with a focus on Human, and Non-Human including Agentic Identities
• Architect and oversee the deployment of IAM solutions across both on-premise and cloud environments, ensuring they meet the highest standards of security.
• Develop and socialize Patterns Standard Patterns for SAML 2.0, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SCIM, FIDO 2.0.
• Act as the technical lead for large-scale security projects, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Architect and implement solutions across workforce IAM and customer IAM ecosystems.
• Provide thought leadership in adopting Passwordless authentication, passkeys, adaptive MFA, and AI-driven access orchestration strategies
• Engineer integrations with Agentic AI tools for intelligent decisioning, policy enforcement, and autonomous identity lifecycle operations.
• Ensure integration of IAM with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and SaaS applications.
• Mentor and develop the skills of senior security engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline or higher
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 10 years in security engineering, with significant expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale IAM initiatives and formulating security strategies for complex organizations.
• IAM Solutions: Design and hands-on engineering across IAM:
• Identity Providers (such as Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Ping, ForgeRock),
• Customer IAM (Auth0, PingOne preferred).
• Protocols & APIs: Deep understanding of federation protocols (SAML, OAuth2.0, OIDC), SCIM, and REST APIs is Must
• Directory Services & Cloud IAM: Hands-on experience with Active Directory, LDAP, and cloud IAM solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Security Frameworks: Solid foundation in Zero Trust architecture and contemporary security standards.
• Automation: Proficient in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or RESTful APIs.
