Job summary

GlobalFoundries seeks an energetic Yield Engineer for its 300mm Malta, NY fab. You will drive yield improvement and product performance on advanced nodes, collaborating across design, test, and process teams to optimize cost, cycle time, and robustness.

The role requires a Bachelor's in circuit design or electrical engineering with at least 4 years of related experience, strong data analysis, and excellent communication skills. MS/PhD preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in circuit design or electrical engineering.
• Experience: 4 years of relatable experience.
• Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural team.
• Working knowledge in the design, execution, and analysis of experiments.
• Knowledge of circuit design and test, solid-state device physics, submicron FET architectures.

Responsibilities

• Drive yield and product performance for technology nodes at 45nm and below.
• Investigate root cause of yield and functionality issues.
• Use data analysis, FA, design information, and device knowledge to identify improvements.
• Engage with customers on weekly calls with updates on yield status and forecasts.
• Collaborate with Test, Integration and Process Modules to implement improvements.
• Support customer engineering to meet external requirements.
• Support process module engineering to improve cost, cycle time, and robustness.
