Job Description

BAE Systems, Inc. is seeking an Integration Platform Support Engineer with webMethods and/or Mulesoft experience for our growing Enterprise Integration Services team. This position will support a strategic area within our IT organization and offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of highly-skilled integration professionals, collaborating with multiple architecture and infrastructure support functions to support all lines of business across the company.

As an Integration Platform Support Engineer, primary goals include ensuring that day-to-day Production incidents and service disruptions are resolved promptly, proactively maintaining integration service availability, and supporting various business-critical projects and programs.

Responsibilities Include:

• Triage and troubleshoot Production incidents, keeping customers updated on status and resolution
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on major Production incidents
• Proactively monitor system health and address potential problems
• Support the integration platform, applications, and infrastructure planned maintenance (e.g., upgrades, patching)
• Develop bug fixes and enhancements, collaborating with the development team for Tier-3 fixes
• Support development and testing environments
• Participate in design and code reviews
• Provide integration testing support
• Ensure adequate Operations & Management (O&M) knowledge transfer for new solutions deployed to Production
• Document and maintain knowledge base articles
• Perform IT Controls reviews for compliance
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate O&M operations, support, and maintenance processes

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• 4 years of experience with software installation, configuration, development, etc.
• Minimum 3 years in system/application integration
• Minimum 2 years working full-time with a COTS integration solution – webMethods and/or Mulesoft
• Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps practices
• Experience in full SDLC of integration solutions
• BS Degree
• US CITIZEN

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• 6 years of experience with software development, configuration management, and production support
• At least 4 years in system/application integration
• At least 4 years supporting integration solutions with webMethods and/or MuleSoft platforms
• Familiarity with UNIX OS and basic shell scripting
• Experience designing and supporting on-premise and cloud integration solutions
• Understanding security protocols and collaborating on authentication and authorization design

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $77,814 - $132,283
