Job summary

Ilocatum is seeking a Senior Principal Environmental Engineer to lead waterfront remediation projects in the Pacific Northwest. You will direct sediment cleanup efforts, manage RI/FS planning, and ensure compliance with MTCA and CERCLA standards.

The role requires a state-licensed PE or geologist with 10+ years in remediation and a degree in Environmental Engineering or Geology. Expect engagement with regulators and cross-team mentorship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in environmental remediation consulting.
• Professional Engineer or WA/OR licensed geologist.
• Experience with MTCA and CERCLA processes and cleanup actions.
• Sediment remediation, dredging, and sediment risk understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead contaminated site remediation projects from scope through completion.
• Prepare and review RI/FS and cleanup action plans.
• Oversee remedial design and construction phases.
• Coordinate with Ecology, EPA, and DEQ regulators.
• Mentor engineers and scientists on the project team.
