Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. in Washington state seeks a Principal Environmental Remediation Engineer to lead environmental investigations and cleanup projects across the Pacific Northwest.

You will guide due diligence, remediation design, and cost estimation while mentoring junior staff and contributing to business development. This role requires a PE license, 10+ years of related experience, and strong communication skills to manage client relationships with regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering (required).
• PE licensure (required).
• 10+ years of related experience (15+ preferred).
• Master’s degree in environmental engineering preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal cleanup laws and regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license for business travel (required).

Responsibilities

• Lead investigation and remediation project work.
• Develop and implement environmental due diligence and cleanup actions.
• Mentor staff and manage project performance.
