You will collaborate with academic groups, standards bodies, and cross-functional partners to deliver scalable media processing platforms for live and on-demand streaming.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in video codec related field.
• Expertise in AV1, AV2, AVC, HEVC, VVC.
• Strong algorithm background in block-based and neural coding.
• DL applied to video processing tasks.
• Proven IP generation track record.
• Understand multimedia stack and codecs.
• Research/advanced development in video coding or media processing.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop future generation image/video coding using ML/AI.
• Collaborate with standards bodies (MPEG, IETF, VQEG).
• Lead R&D in computer vision and ML for video tasks.
• Design video algorithms/workflows for speed, scale, efficiency.
• Contribute to end-to-end video streaming for live and on-demand.
