Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC seeks a Principal, US National Security Policy, AWS Public Policy Americas to lead cloud policy in defense and national security. You will work with senior government decision makers, policymakers, and the US Intelligence Community from Washington, DC, coordinating the Intelligence Authorization Act process and aligning policy with business priorities.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field, 10+ years in public policy, and a current TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

Experience in public policy development and implementation.
Master's degree or above in Law, Political Science, Public Policy, Public Affairs, or related field.
10+ years of public policy, government relations, or public affairs experience.
Current, active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Partner with cross‑functional teams to align policy goals with business priorities.
Anticipate challenges as the public policy landscape evolves.
Build policymaker awareness of cloud computing and drive favorable policy outcomes.
Advance advocacy with Intelligence Oversight, Authorization, and Appropriations Committees, US Congress.
Coordinate policy objectives with internal teams and external stakeholders.
