Job summary

Public Service Co. of Oklahoma is seeking an engineer to support its downtown underground network and related distribution facilities.

You will design circuits, develop project designs for primary cable and network crews, and provide engineering support for substations and feeder exits. This role coordinates planned outages, works with internal teams and external partners, performs load-flow and fault-current studies using CYME, maintains maps in AutoCAD and PI Vision, and leads projects from

Qualifications

• Requires intermediate engineering work applying engineering knowledge safely and efficiently.
• Designs standard and non-standard network facilities and studies load-flow.
• Coordinates planned outages with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Supports underground network planning, mapping, and vault structures.
• Monitors system health with PI Vision and conducts reliability analyses.
• Leads projects, budgets, procurement, and closeout activities.

Responsibilities

• Designs circuits for downtown underground network and feeders.
• Develops project designs for primary cable and network crews.
• Represents engineering in construction, inspection, and closeout.
• Performs load-flow, fault-current, and system modeling studies.
• Maintains AutoCAD maps, one-line diagrams, and PI Vision maps.
• Supports storm restoration and emergency responses.
