Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Architect to lead the Transit Facilities practice in San Francisco (or LA or Denver). You will guide design teams on rail and bus facilities, lead client relationships, and grow the regional transit portfolio.

You will supervise multi-disciplinary teams, ensure quality delivery, and mentor staff across offices while pursuing opportunities nationally and internationally.

Qualifications

• Architectural degree from a NAAB accredited program.
• Licensed Architect in California and Washington.
• NCARB file or eligible to secure within 45 days of hire.
• 15+ years of rail and bus facility experience, multi-disciplinary leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the transit practice within the region.
• Manage projects, develop cost proposals, and monitor progress.
• QA/QC on complex projects and act as Architect of Record (AOR) in the U.S.
