Qualifications

• PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma preferred.
• Experience with transformation methodologies and performance improvement tools.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Job description

Find your purpose as a Principal Transformation Consultant at CentraCare! This role bridges strategy and execution, ensuring that transformation initiatives deliver measurable and sustainable results. Responsible for managing a transformation portfolio and driving transformational improvement initiatives totaling >$150M in NOI and large-scale organizational changes. Working closely with the Transformation Management, Enterprise Project Management, Strategy Development, and Leadership Development teams. This position collaborates with CentraCare leaders to identify value creation opportunities, supports complex planning through a structured approach to problem solving using analytical tools and frameworks to develop solutions to complex business challenges, and provides system-level measurement and reporting.

Schedule:

• Full-time 80 hours every 2 weeks
• Mon-Fri Days
• Hybrid of at-home and in-office at the St. Cloud Hospital

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay begins at $121,825.60 per year and increases with experience.
• Salary range: $121,825.60-$182,707.20 per year Salary range is based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

• Facilitates large-scale organizational changes such as identifying opportunities, building the business case for change, assisting in defining the action steps/workplans, and identify and create risk mitigation plans.
• Leads exploration and due diligence relating to new project concepts and initiatives, translating operational and industry intelligence into the business case development.
• Provides recommendations or options to CentraCare leaders based on analysis and findings that support definitive, data-driven decision making.
• Supports transformation portfolio governance, cadence, and benefits realization.
• Supports implementation focused on service line restructuring, growth strategies, or other transformational changes.
• Utilizes broad change management strategies which drives higher efficiency and effectiveness.
• Proactively works with cross-functional teams to understand the impact of changes on different departments and ensure that transformation goals are aligned across the organization.
• Conducts impact analyses to assess stakeholder readiness for tactical changes and change adoption.
• Collaboratively creates frameworks and approaches that can be leveraged across projects and modified to the defined purpose to accelerate speed to insights and results.
• Actively champions and contributes to the continuous improvement of healthcare best practices, using innovative ideas to increase effectiveness of the overall organization.
• Provides subject matter expertise in project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, facilitation and other areas of expertise based on leading practice project management techniques.
• Works effectively with business partners, vendors and staff to develop project agendas and ensure agreement/adoption of project objectives/deliverables by affected constituencies. Provide proactive communication to project owner. Work to identify cross-organizational interdependencies and ensure appropriate integration to project plan. Effectively manage client expectations and resource requirements to ensure ownership and success.
• Establishes and nurtures strong client and business partner relationships while also developing and maintaining trusted, long-term client relationships.
• Provides transparency and manage integrated work plans to CentraCare organizational leaders for all projects in Transformation Management portfolio.
• Monitors overall financial impact of projects within the Transformation Management portfolio work and appropriate reporting for the Exec Director, Enterprise Projects, Transformation, and Analytics and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
• Acts as a key operational representative on the appropriate Steering Committees and as a trusted advisor to leaders during periods of complexity and disruption.
