Job summary
Rippling is hiring a senior Technical Program Manager (Staff/Principal) to lead product development and geographic expansion. You will partner with product and engineering leaders to own execution across cross-team initiatives, mitigate risks, and ensure on-time delivery through strong technical leadership.
You will drive strategy, translate requirements into concrete tasks, monitor health, and escalate blockers. A four-year CS/engineering/business degree or equivalent is required.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as TPM, Engineering Lead, Manager, or equivalent working directly with software engineering teams.
- Proven ability to communicate technical issues effectively to technical and non-technical partners.
- Ability to build detailed plans accounting for ambiguity, dependencies and technical complexity.
Responsibilities
- Drive strategic, cross-functional planning and prioritization with Product and Engineering leadership.
- Translate high-level requirements into actionable engineering tasks, milestones, and specifications.
- Monitor program health, risks, issues, and dependencies across teams; escalate as needed.
- Own engineering roadblocks and drive timely closure with engineering leads.
- Communicate roadmap changes, release plans, and trade-offs to stakeholders.
